Lights of the Ozarks Nov 22 – Dec 31
Enjoy the amazing winter wonderland of lights on the Downtown Square beginning Friday, November 22nd at 6 p.m. with the lighting night parade.
The lights illuminate the square each evening from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. and remain on through December 31, 2019. Nightly holiday activities, hot chocolate, and festive music make the Lights of the Ozarks an event that cannot be missed.
Each year Fayetteville Parks and Recreation workers spend over 3,300 hours decorating the Downtown Square with over 400,000 lights. Holiday activities on the Historic Downtown Square will be going on through December 31, weather permitting.
The Lights of the Ozarks parade will weave through downtown Fayetteville at 6 p.m. on the evening of Friday, November 22nd. At 6:00 p.m., Mayor Lioneld Jordan will flip the switch to turn on all the magical lights and will lead the Lighting Night Parade though the square and downtown.
